3. Data Retention & Legal Obligations

Important Legal Notice: Under Washington State Law (RCW 42.45), every Notary Public is required to maintain an official Notary Journal.

This journal contains a record of your name, signature, and the type of ID presented during the signing.
Retention: Notaries are required to maintain these records for 10 years. Therefore, information recorded in an official Notary Journal cannot be deleted or "forgotten" upon request.

4. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during the booking and dispatch process. Our independent contractors are also required to handle your documents with the highest level of confidentiality and professional care.

5. Your Rights

You may request to review or update the contact information we have on file for you. As noted above, this does not apply to legally mandated records held in the Notary Journal.
